Peaceful but with wistful memories, perhaps a little melancholy. Chilly yet warm at the same time too.

Dear Mr. Ludwick...
As I was browsing the "Jazz Vocals" category on SoundClick, I was delighted to see a tag for your "Rain Song" because I have a song with the same title on my SoundClick page. So, of course, I wanted to hear how you treated the subject of rain in a song!
Somewhere on the Web I encountered a musician's quotation, "Music is what feelings sound like". I believe your "Rain Song" demonstrates the truth of those words in the most compelling and dramatic way possible. From the first note of the intro, into your yearning vocal and throughout the remainder of the song, you conjured up a mood that is almost depairing. It caused me to wonder if it had been inspired by an emotionally troubling event in your life.
Lyrically, I like the fact that you didn't appear to be too concerned with sticking to a rhyme scheme from verse to verse. The effect is quite liberating, stylistically speaking, and lends a "stream of consciousness" feeling to the song.

Song: Farewell : A Poem
Larry, you may never see this comment as it is now several years since your #1 Soundclick song was posted. Regardless, I want to express how moving your lyrics, reading, music, and production are in capturing the universal mystery of life and death... and life we will all come to know again in time. Best Wishes Always...Bob (and the JBBQ "Guys")

Song: Memorium
Impressively emotive lead work. As always your compositions tread that edge between pure classical and more modern in a way I find brilliant; hints of discord and richer chord shapes at just the right moments to transition the piece subtly from sweetly reminiscent to feelings of loss and regret.

Song: Anger in Your Eyes
What an amazing song!!! I listen to the lyrics last because I love to capture the power of the music, this has got to be one of the best tracks I have listened to, the quality of the deep synth and the bass is really powerful, and your vocals fit perfectly!!! Nicely done!!!

Song: Waltz of the Past
Big, expressive chord voicings, a nostalgic melody, and a clear message. This plays in my head long after it's over.
