Story behind the song
For my Uncle George. My father died when I was very young and my uncle unbidden often filled in during my teenage years. I will love him always for his gentle and warm heart. He was a Navy medic during WWII in the Pacific Islands. I've always loved the picture attached of his youthful smile that he carried through his entire life.
